know your land Vermont

Deepen your connection with home by getting to know the plants and fungi where you live!

Learning to recognize plants and mushrooms around us is incredibly rewarding, settling to our nervous systems and helping us become better stewards of the land where we live.

I love connecting my neighbors with their local floral and fungal communities. From the calcium-rich Sugar Maple forests bursting with blue cohosh, maidenhair ferns, ramps and sometimes even ginseng to the acidic Hemlock woods graced with Reishi mushrooms most summers, Vermont’s wild places are full of beautiful and powerful lives in every season!
